Definition

A publication produced by the Reserve Bank twice a year with the aim "to identify and analyse potential risks to financial system stability, communicate such assessments, and stimulate debate on pertinent issues". For example, the review published in early 2021 indicated that the banking sector had not used a significant proportion of their regulatory buffers to counter bad debts arising from the pandemic because the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) was 151% - against a regulatory minimum of 100%.
