An ultra-short-term trading strategy with just a few minutes between buying and selling, and certainly within the trading day. The objective is to take advantage of very small movements. The idea is to buy and then sell out as soon as a the trade goes into the money. Multiple small trades can yield a good profit provided the scalper is consistently correct in guesssing the direction of the next move. The trader must have a very strict stop-loss strategy because a singe large loss can wipe out dozens of small scalping profits.
