An options strategy which uses three contracts to establish a range around a security or commodity. It locks in the value of a position but sacrifices some of the upside potential in doing so. The strategy consists of selling a call which is far out of the money, selling a put which is far out of the money and then using the proceeds from that to buy a put which is either at the money of just out of the money.
